Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) won the 13th Secretariat Hi-Tech Cup Cricket Tournament, defeating Axis Bank in the final by four wickets at Kalinga Stadium here today. Axis Bank batsman Manorajan Biswal, who top-scored with 67 runs, was adjudged as man of the final match.
Sujoy Mukhopadhya (Infosys) received the man of the tournament award. Hi-Tech Group Director Suresh Panigrahi presented the trophy and cash prizes at the closing function. Champions LIC became richer by Rs 10,000, while Axis Bank received Rs 7,000. The five-month-long tournament was organised by Orissa Secretariat Cricket Association.

Axis Bank 193/9 in 30 overs (Manoranjan Biswal 67, Ansuman Das 31, SB Das 21; Sk Oscar Ali 3/28) lost to LIC 194/6 in 28.4 overs (Dillip Das 38, Saurya Kumar Das 36, MS Beg 32).
